OPERATIVE MINISTRIES

» Altar Guild
1 Timothy 2.1. The Altar Guild is to serve Christ by joyfully and reverently preparing the altars for all services and to assist the Pastor and ministers in order to enhance the worship experience of all who come to Freedom Rock as well as grow in understanding the worship of God.

» Armour Bearers’ Guild
1 Samuel 14:7. The emissaries of the Armour Bearer’s Guild willfully submit unto the spiritual authority that commands one to selflessly and tirelessly serve the Pastor and First Lady. The purpose of the Armour Bearers’ Guild is to provide strength to the First Family and must understand, embrace, and advocate the Pastor’s thoughts while walking in agreement and submission to advance the vision of Freedom Rock.

» Deacons’ Ministry
Acts 6:2-3. The Deacons’ Ministry, in its earnest desire to serve, is grateful to be of service to the Freedom Rock. The Deacons assist the Pastor in implementing his vision and programs, carrying on the business of the church, addressing the needs of those who request spiritual, physical and social help, projecting a posture of humility, distinction, and genuineness, and engaging in church activities that promote evangelism and missionary service.

» Hospitality Ministry
Romans 12:10-13. The Hospitality Ministry sets the spiritual tenor of the church and as guests and members are welcomed in, they should feel the love of Christ, a spirit of Freedom, and the heart of our Pastor. The Hospitality Ministry assists the Pastor in conducting worship service by serving the congregation in broad areas of greeting, meeting, seating and helping.

» Earth Angels
Psalm 91.11. Earth Angels is a ministry of kindness, temperance, and, virtuosity. Earth Angels are specifically assigned to assist in welcoming and nurturance of new members to Freedom Rock and encouraging all members to help further the Kingdom of God.

» Christian Education Department
Proverbs. 4:7. The Education Department of Freedom Rock provides practical teaching of the word of God with life applications so that all age groups are encouraged to grow in the Christian Faith, making personal commitment to Christ, and to be empowered to live as a faithful disciple with sufficient wisdom and understanding.

» Media Ministry
Mark 16:15. The purpose of the Media Ministry, established under the auspices of LaBaron Hedgemon Ministries, Inc., is to bring the Word to the masses via the creation of a worldwide media network thereby providing access to God’s wisdom and knowledge. This can be accomplished through publishing books, audio and video tapes, CD’s and DVD as well as radio and television broadcast, not to mention the internet.

» Men of Action (MOA)
Ephesians 6:10 A is a vital and spiritual part of the overall church ministry that provides great opportunities for the men of Freedom Rock to fellowship, grow, and serve with other Christian men. Through several community-based programs such as Passport to Manhood, MOA has been given the charge of empowering, training, and equipping young men to be both leaders and servants within and throughout the Christianity community.

» Ministers in Training (M.I.T.)
2 Peter 1:10 The M.I.T. is a program for future as well as current ministers in need of greater training. M.I.T. facilitates ministers towards an even greater level of ministerial experience, allowing them to become more intimately acquainted with the inner-workings of ministry. As they co-assist the pastor with delegated responsibilities within Freedom Rock they continually receive hands on in various areas of ministerial training.

» Music Ministry
2 Chronicles 5:13. The purpose of the Music Ministry at Freedom Rock is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship. Effectively, the Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences.

» Nursery & Childcare Ministry
Matthew 19:14. The Nursery & Childcare Ministry meets the needs of the infants and toddlers of Freedom Rock in physical, emotional, social and spiritual growth. Offering a developmental, play-oriented program with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities such as art, music, play and Bible stories, the ministry provides a safe, loving and caring environment for children ages 0-5 and their families during church services.

» Nurses’ Guild
Luke 9:2. The Nurses’ Guild assists in meeting the basic medical needs of the Pastor, special guests and pulpit staff as they minister to the congregation. The guild provides standard first aide through medical knowledge and capability by trained persons for any emergent, unexpected situations as they arise

» Parking Lot Ministry
Isaiah 58:10. The purpose is to provide excellence in the grounds of the church during operating hours. We also make sure the experience of members and visitors is in a spirit of distinction and love as in the spirit of our church and Pastor.

» Singles Ministry
1 Corinthians 7:32.The purpose of our Single’s Ministry is to bring single Christians to a state of wholeness. The ministry helps to promote the vision of Freedom Rock by teaching singles how to love God first, themselves second, and teaching sessions centered on ministry in a practical way, that celebrates be single, saved, and celibate.

» WOMAX
Proverbs 3:15.The mission of WOW! is to Birth, Bond and Build . Every woman is encouraged and empowered to become all that God intends. The women ministry is designed to assist in carrying out the vision of the church to assist in developing virtuous representatives of God’s Kingdom as well as serving as the surrogate “spiritual mothers” of the members of YWOW!

» Youth Ministry
1 Peter 2:9 The mission of the Youth Ministry is to Enlighten, Expose, and Empower children, adolescents, and teenagers to cross salvation and succeed into destiny!
